Quebec Society for the Study of Religion
Holding an annual symposium has been one of the main activities of the SQER since its founding more than 30 years ago. After the relaunch of the scholarly society in 2015, the members decided to renew the formula by now holding a congress every two years, alternating in a Quebec university. Laval University is pleased to be the official host of this first biennial congress, this year in virtual format. With the theme "The Quebec tradition of the study of religion", it is to a mapping of the study of the Quebec religious that the event invites us, in the diversity of approaches and perspectives. It is with pride that we present the official program with more than 100 guests, some 116 papers and 12 thematic sessions.
